The true measure of eco-efficiency: The certified LCA
The Life Cycle Assessment is the most reliable method (ISO 14040 – 14044) at the international level in order to measure the varied burdens a product places upon our environment. This method consists of collecting data (input and output, materials, energy, waste) at each stage of the life cycle of a product.
It then reproduces the impact generated on the environment during the entire life cycle, from raw material extraction to the end-of-life of the product.
Ferrari^® has measured the environmental impact of its products. The results can vary depending on the choices made at the end of the product’s useful life.

In order to obtain a clear understanding of the information, the Ferrari^® Group has decided:
• to obtain LCAs of its products,
• make these full-version LCA's,
• to enable their clients to carry out the LCA of finished products.
The LCA's of the Ferrari^® products are verified by internationally recognized independent entities.
